Many New Beginnings
Updated: Apr 8, 2020
It’s a new year. Very encouraged to see many friends welcoming the year on a positive note to themselves to start a fresh new chapter of their life. Hm... isn’t it duh! Who doesn’t? Well, yes we may acknowledge that it’s a new year with new resolutions, there may be some who are still holding on to the past. 2 words that you should imprint into your resolution this year: Let Go. We can’t go back to change the past but you can start where you are and change the present. Isn’t it great that we get to press the reset button on every 1 January and tell ourselves it’s a new beginning? Life’s not that hard afterall to be happy. So let go. Let go of the past hurts, let go of the past worries, past mistakes, forgive someone if you have to. Of course it’s always easier said than done because forgiving requires kindness, empathy and understanding, it requires you to make that choice to be the bigger person and forgive. Forgiving yourself may sometimes be the best solution in order to move forward. Because if you can’t control the external, then control your inner self: let go of the sadness, anger, guilt and pain that you may have. Press the reset button and you will see many new beginnings coming your way. New year is about seeing things from a new perspective. Let go. Remember not the past and the old, new things will spring forth, new roads will open your way, rivers of water will flow through your dry land. I wish you many wonderful, exciting, new beginnings for the new year.
